Ramses by Brewing Pack

This beer poured hazy amber with a big thick white head that displayed excellent retention. Medium fast rising carbonation bubbles are visible in the glass.
The Hop aroma of this beer was redolent with the scent of ripe citrus fruits along with undertones of mango and pineapple.
The flavour is mirrored by the aroma with big bold hop notes. Also a small amount of malt sweetness is detectible. The hop bitterness are very harsh with a low astringency.
The finish is dry with a lingering citrus character from the hops and a whiff of resinous notes.
All in all, I’m not a friend of Double IPAs. But I think that real hop-heads get their money’s worth. This beer would pair nicely with blue cheeses or bone-in pork chops.
